The High Temperature Air Butterfly Valve is a quarter-turn flow control device engineered specifically for high-temperature air, flue gas, and mass flow pipeline applications. It operates via the 90-degree rotation of a disc-shaped valve plate, driven by a pneumatic or electric actuator, to regulate, open, or close fluid flow within the pipeline. Unlike traditional lined butterfly valves, this model uses a liner-free metal seat design, eliminating the risk of lining degradation, melting, or failure at extreme temperatures. A dedicated radiator is installed between the valve body and actuator to block conductive heat transfer, protecting critical actuation components from thermal damage and ensuring smooth, consistent operation even in continuous 1000℃ environments.
The proprietary metal seat design maintains a flat, leak-tight seal even at peak temperatures up to 1000℃, with no lining to degrade over time. This ensures long-term operational integrity in the most demanding high-heat industrial processes.
The optimized metal seat structure drastically reduces operating torque, lowering energy consumption for actuation, extending actuator service life, and cutting long-term operational and maintenance costs for industrial operators.
The built-in radiator between the valve and actuator effectively isolates high heat, preventing thermal damage to sensitive actuation components. Its heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant construction minimizes maintenance requirements, reducing unplanned downtime and improving overall process efficiency.
Our pneumatic high temperature butterfly valve is widely deployed across industrial sectors with extreme thermal process requirements, including thermal power generation, waste incineration, cement manufacturing, metallurgical processing, chemical flue gas treatment, industrial boiler systems, and large-scale HVAC ventilation systems. It is ideal for both hot and cold flue gas pipelines, low differential pressure mass flow pipelines, and remote automatic control applications.
Pioneer Valve is a leading provider of industrial flow control solutions, with our electric high temp butterfly valve engineered to meet the most stringent global industry standards for high-temperature performance. We offer full customization of body materials, diameter sizes, and actuation configurations to match your specific process temperature, pressure, and media requirements. Every valve undergoes rigorous inspection and testing compliant with API 598, GB/T 26480, and other international standards, ensuring consistent quality and long-term reliability in extreme operating conditions. Our dedicated technical team provides end-to-end support, from pre-sales consultation to custom project engineering.
Our industrial flue gas butterfly valve can reliably operate in medium temperatures ranging from -29℃ up to +1000℃, making it suitable for nearly all extreme high-temperature industrial processes.
We offer two optimized actuation solutions: pneumatic actuators and electric actuators, both engineered to support seamless remote automatic control for large-scale industrial pipeline systems.
The valve is available in nominal diameters from NPS 4” to NPS 120” (DN100 to DN3000), covering a full range of large-scale industrial pipeline specifications.
