The Q41F-16P is a two-piece, flanged ball valve compliant with German Industrial Standards (DIN), utilizing a floating ball design. Its core function is to open, close, or divert flow by rotating the ball 90 degrees around the valve body's central axis.
In the closed position, the ball is pressed against the seat by the valve stem, ensuring a reliable seal. When opening counterclockwise, the stem first lifts the ball off the seat and then rotates it 90 degrees frictionlessly to the fully open position, allowing media to pass through with minimal resistance. This design enables quick operation and extremely low flow resistance, making it ideal for on/off and isolation services.
